> BIOGRAPHY

HISTORY:

Gleem is a singer/songwriter based in Gosport, Hampshire. For more than a decade he has performed reggae and hip-hop music in a range of venues throughout Gosport, Portsmouth and also London, Spain and the US. Gleem has headlined numerous local events and also supported well-respected genre leaders.

Gleem has an active involvement in providing vocal workshops to young people, employed through Music Fusion as a Music Leader. He has more than five years experience with continual workshops in schools and youth/community centres in Leigh Park, Stubbington, Rowner, Lee-On-Solent and Gosport Youth Festival.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Helped to reduced police call-outs in Stubbington during workshop hours
• Over 200 performances
• Performance shown on BBC Panorama – What future for Kurt?
• Gained insight of touring by being on the road with The Wailers
• Appearances on 3 local mix CD’s

FUTURE:

In the immediate future, Gleem is launching his forthcoming “Feed The Hippy” album in March 2009. He describes this as his biography, which depicts his journey from a reckless youth to a responsible adult.

As a long-term plan he aims to expand his performance territory and increase community awareness of the benefits providing vocal workshops to young people.
